Park Regis Birmingham is a visually appealing, modern hotel in a central location, convenient for Broad Street and city centre access. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms and the availability of on-site parking, some even with electric charging. The buffet breakfast receives positive feedback for its varied selection, and the Indus restaurant is considered excellent; however, a few guests have found the TV lacking smart features. The hotel is especially festive around Christmas, making it a popular choice for celebrations.

Decent stay but with some issues

non-functional ac unhelpful receptionist
The breakfast offered a good variety of choices.
The room was uncomfortably hot. I reported this issue, but the air conditioning did not function correctly. The receptionist the next morning was unhelpful regarding the unresolved problem.

charmed stay

comprehensive options dietary needs good water pressure
I found the breakfast options quite comprehensive! a wide range of choices catered to various dietary needs. the room had adequate tea and coffee making facilities, though, i wished there were more options. the shower offered good water pressure. It was very refreshing after a long day!
the television lacked smart capabilities, limiting entertainment options! i wanted to stream music from my phone, but i was unable to.
Facilities
8/10
The hotel has a gym with several treadmills and stationary bikes. A decent workout can be achieved! the pool area includes a good number of loungers and a shaded section for relaxation, though i noticed some were a bit worn.
Rooms
9/10
My beautiful double room was spacious, with a large window offering a city view! it featured a comfortable bed and adequate storage. the bathroom included two separate sinks. It was so convenient for getting ready quickly.
Dining
8/10
the breakfast buffet included a variety of hot and cold options such as pastries, cereals, and fresh fruit. the restaurant offered a limited menu with mostly indian cuisine! the food presentation was beautiful, though the taste could have been better.
Service
9/10
The reception staff were informative and cute! they provided assistance with directions and local attractions. the dining staff worked diligently, though sometimes seemed a bit overwhelmed during peak hours. It made the service slow at times

The on-site parking included electric charging , which was convenient.
I found the room quite hot despite the mild weather , and the AC did not seem to function at all. A staff member attempted to assist , but there was no improvement and I struggled to sleep. The receptionist in the morning lacked helpfulness , and I learned the entire floor experienced AC issues.

The lighting wasn't convenient. I couldn't turn off the bathroom light from the bedside. the bedside lights then went off too! i also received a note saying my room couldn't be made up unless i called before 3pm since i had left the 'do not disturb' sign on the door when i went for breakfast. the room service was rushed and not very thorough.
